Star Wars Galaxies Coming to Japan

LucasArts has announced an agreement with Electronic Arts Japan to launch Star Wars Galaxies for the PC in Japan. Under the agreement, LucasArts will fully localize the game for the Japanese market, while EA Japan handles operations, hosting, maintenance, and customer support.

The Japanese release is scheduled for December 2004. It will include the upcoming Jump to Lightspeed expansion, which is scheduled for a North American launch in October.
