Square Enix will soon release a few items which should be of interest to the denizens of Vana'diel. According to the official Final Fantasy XI website the company will release Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia for the PS2 and PC, an expansion to the prominent MMORPG, and the Final Fantasy XI All-In-One 2004 Pack, which includes PlayOnline, Final Fantasy XI, along with the expansions Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia.
The Japanese release for FFXI: Chains of Promathia and the All-In-One 2004 Pack are scheduled for September 16, 2004. At this time, only FFXI: Chains of Promathia is scheduled for release outside of Japan. The North American releases for the Windows and Playstation 2 versions are scheduled for September 21. Currently only the Windows version is scheduled for European release and is expected to ship this September.
