It appears that size does matter, at least to the people at Mutable Realms. In conjunction with Themis Group, the company recently announced that their MMORPG Wish will enter closed beta testing in November. This foreshadows an open beta test, which will encompass no less than 10,000 people.

Wish is a huge MMORPG, which has been designed from the ground up to host tens of thousands of players simultaneously in a single fantasy universe. The game has been undergoing much in-house fine-tuning in preparation for this fall beta and is set for release in Winter 2004.
