GameCube's Phantasy Delayed

In what should come to the long-time Nintendo gamer as an expected necessity, Sonic Team's online role-playing game Phantasy Star Online has been delayed yet again.

Commenting on the reasons for the delay of this much expected title, Sonic Team stressed that the extra time would be spent adding extra modes of play as well as adding more refined gameplay. It could also be inferred that Sonic Team may intend to use the time to make sure the game is more stable and ready for its impending online launch.

Phantasy Star Online, for the Nintendo GameCube, was originally slated for a Japanese launch on August 11th. The delay pushes the date back to the 12th of September.
