Project Majestic Mix and OneUp Studios, a brand new North American game music remixer, have announced a new Square music album. Entitled SQUAREDANCE, the album will come in two versions, a limited edition and standard edition. The SQUAREDANCE Limited Edition will feature two CDs of music in many unique dance styles. This album, featuring high profile remixers, will be encased in specialized art and DVD packaging. The CDs will feature tracks from 13 Squaresoft video games, ranging from classic, almost-forgotten games like Final Fantasy Mystic Quest and Final Fantasy Adventure to modern classics such as Final Fantasy IX and Chrono Cross. Only 900 Limited Edition units will be available to the public. The album will be released in October 2002. A Standard Edition featuring a single CD of music is planned to become available some time after the Limited Edition is sold out.
