Sega Spreads the Tokyo Game Show Love
SEGA

It seems that the line-up announcements are starting to pile up, now that the Autumn Tokyo Game Show is only seventeen days away. The latest company to reveal what's on its platter is the newly software-only Sega, and there are a couple of titles that should be of considerable interest to rpgamers.

The Dreamcast seems to be the place to be for Sakura Taisen fans, with not one but two titles headed to the not-so-ailing platform, namely Sakura Taisen 4 and Sakura Online. If history holds true, neither of these will arrive in North America, but we can hope. Then, of course, there is the previously announced version of Phantasy Star Online Ver. 2 for the GameCube.

One oddity is Sakura Taisen: Thunderbolt Operation, which was previously announced as a Game Boy Color title, but is listed as a Game Boy Advance game by several online news sites. No word has been made of a platform change, so this might just be a typographical error. Either way, RPGamer is on the case. Look for more as the next big console game show draws ever nearer.
