Atlus has added the PlayStation remake of Shin Megami Tensei II to the ever-growing list of games that have been delayed in the past week or so. The title, originally for the Super Famicom, was announced near the end of last year, and the development seemed to be on schedule as late as August; however, it now seems the originally planned release date of October 25th will not be met. Atlus has offered no reason for the delay, and has now targeted December for the game's release.

Thankfully, while Shin Megami Tensei II will be coming later than expected, it will not be more expensive than previously reported; Atlus has left the price of the game at 4800 yen, which amounts to roughly $41.00 US. There is little chance of the game making it to North America, although a localization is not out of the question.
