Nintendo has recently announced that the launch of the GameCube has been pushed back just over two weeks to November 18th. Two launch games, Super Smash Bros. Melee and Animal Forest, have been pushed further back into the beginning of December while Pikmin has been pushed up to the day after the system hits store shelves. While in absolute terms this is a fairly brief delay, it should come as good news to Microsoft, whose console will now be the first out the door.
