Enterbrain to Release PS2 RPG Creation Title
Enterbrain

When RPG Maker came out for the PSX last year, the industrious within the gaming community were overjoyed at the prospect of creating their own games. With the arrival of the PS2, it was only a matter of time until a similar product hit the market, and that time has come. Enterbrain has announced that they will be releasing RPG Tsukuru, a 3D RPG creation game, for the PS2.

Details on the game are scant at the moment, but it has been confirmed that USB keyboard support has been incorporated. Players will be able to flex their game design muscles by creating fully 3D characters and dungeons, and will additionally be able to create their own dialogue and even fiddle with weather effects.

This information comes with one (huge) caveat. The game is only set for a Japanese release at the moment, with no mention at all of a North American release. The Japanese version will be hit stores in December and will carry a 7800 ¥ ($64) price tag. Keep checking this space, as RPGamer is on the lookout for word of a domestic release.
