King's Field IV to See North American Release
King's Field IV

King's Field IV, the next chapter in From Software's long running first person RPG series, is North America bound. Not surprisingly, Agetec, long associated with From Software's titles, has claimed the game's North American publishing rights. Agetec hopes to have King's Field IV ready as early as January 2002.

Although well-received in both Japan and North America, From Software has expressed some disappointment with the series' previous installments, citing the PlayStation's technological constraints as detrimental to achieving King's Field's full potential. Now with the power of the PlayStation 2, From Software may be able to craft their perfect game. After numerous delays for fine-tuning, King's Field IV will be released in Japan this October.
