Import Tidbits: Early August Edition

DQ7 Pre-orders
Enix's Dragon Quest VII pre-order campaign kicked off on August 1, and will be ending on August 10. By pre-ordering, you not only are guaranteed a copy on the first day, but you will also receive a free Dragon Quest VII memory card holder. The game will be released in Japan on August 26.

Angelique Trois
Koei is bringing RPGs and dating sims together with their PlayStation 2 game, Angelique Trois. Controlling a princess, you travel the lands, getting into fights and dating many various male characters via a Love Communication system. You will also able to create your own country on the main continent, much like in the Breath of Fire series. No release date has been set.

Space World
Nintendo SpaceWorld will be held on August 25 - 27, and there will be no shortage of Game Boy Color RPGs being shown. Enix will be showing two RPGs. One of these is Star Ocean: Blue Sphere, a spin-off of Star Ocean: The Second Story for the Sony PlayStation, which features the same characters and planets as its PlayStation cousin. The other is Tales of Phantasia: Similar Dungeon, also a spin-off, taking place in the future of the very world used in Tales of Phantasia for Super Famicom and Sony PlayStation. Hudson will be bringing Grandia: Parallel Trippers to the table. Nintendo, on the other hand, will be displaying the Legend of Zelda: Mystical Seed games. As previously reported, Nintendo has cut the series from three to two games, but has yet to say which one has been left out. Expect more information as SpaceWorld draws nearer.
