Spike Chunsoft has announced that dungeon-crawling survival RPG Zanki Zero will be released in Japan on July 5, 2018. The game will be available in the country for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Spike Chunsoft will also be releasing the game in North America and Europe under the full title Zanki Zero: Last Beginning, but for PlayStation 4 and PC with no release date announced.

Zanki Zero is being created by Spike Chunsoft with Lost Dimension developer Lancarse. The game sees players controlling a group of eight clones on Gareki Island. The clones are supposedly the last remnants of humanity, and have a shortened lifespan of just thirteen days, but can be brought back as new clones by a special machine that retains their memories, personalities, and skills.
