Welcome to RPGamer's weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.


New Releases

  • Cycle of Eternity: Space Anomaly (New 3DS)

  • Healer's Quest (PC)
  • Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (PS4) (also available in a digital bundle with Yakuza Zero)
  • Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (PC)

For the King hits PC and Mac this week and Healer's Quest is now available on PC, while Yakuza 6: The Song of Life arrives on PlayStation 4 and budget spaceship RPG Cycle of Eternity: Space Anomaly hits the new New 3DS. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana also finally hits PC, though seemingly still with some teething issues.


Sales and Discounts

North America starts its edition of the PS Plus Double Discount sale this week, which includes Battle Chasers: Nightwar, ClaDun Returns, the Mass Effect series, and plenty of Experience Inc-developed dungeon-crawlers including Demon Gaze. Europe continues its version of the PS Plus Double Discount sale including The Surge, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, and Torment: Tides of Numenera. Digital Zone discounts including Rogue Legacy and Crypt of the NecroDancer also continue for another week.

The Xbox Store's weekly sale includes a few RPGs, such as Crypt of the NecroDancer, Skyrim, The Surge, Faery: Legends of Avalon, and Mass Effect 2 and 3.

Nintendo of America has new deals on Darkest Dungeon, Persona Q, Etrian Mystery Dungeon, Citizens of Earth, and Revenant Saga, plus some budget titles including Adventure Labyrinth Story and Brave Dungeon. European sales feature Darkest Dungeon, Nine Parchments, and Mercenaries Saga 3.

The current Steam sales include discounts on Darkest Dungeon, Skyrim, The Surge, and RPG Maker. GOG.com has plenty of sales this week, including but not limited to The Witcher 3, Divinity: Original Sin 2, The Legend of Heroes, Shadowrun, and Undertale. Meanwhile, The Humble Store has a few new deals, including Rebel Galaxy and Nine Parchments.
