Nintendo has followed up last year's NES Classic retro system by announcing the Super NES Classic (or, its full European title, the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System). Like its predecessor, the Super NES Classic will come with a static library of games and features HDMI display output and two controller ports. Controllers provided with the system will have cables 5m in length as opposed to the 3m cables of the NES Classic controllers.
The Super NES Classic will be released in North America and Europe on September 29, 2017, priced at $79.99/£69.99. The design for each region is different and based on the design of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System that was released there.
