Kalypso Media and developer Games Farm have added additional features for the action RPG Vikings: Wolves of Midgard. The most prominent among them is the ability to play through a cooperative game locally, allowing two players to share the screen.
As for other additions, New Game+ has been overhauled to allow for items to be brought over through playthroughs while increasing the difficulty each time. A stash has been added to the hub village that allows the transfer of items between characters and characters in a mutliplayer session can now trade items as well. Other minor improvements include updates to the Trial of the Gods mode, new effects for legendary items, audio, and performance.
The update that will feature all of this content is currently available on PC and PlayStation 4. The Xbox One version of the game will receive the update in the future. For more information on Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, Pascal Tekaia's review of the game can be found here.
