Though it is still a week away from the early access release for pre-orders, Square Enix released the launch trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood, the second expansion for the Final Fantasy XIV MMORPG. Coming in at just under six minutes long, the video appears to focus on various cutscenes from the expansion's story, which takes players to the new locations of Ala Mhigo and Doma.
Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood is due to be released for PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac on June 20, 2017, though those who pre-order will get early access from June 16, 2017. The expansion raises the games level cap from 60 to 70 as well as adding two new DPS classes, Red Mage and Samurai, in addition to various other features.
