Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age focusing on the game's Gambit System. Rather than putting players at the whims of the AI for the non-controlled party members, the Gambit System lets players set up a strict set of rules by which they will act. Various triggers can be set up for specific actions, such as current health or enemy targeting.

The Zodiac Age is an HD Remaster of Final Fantasy XII: International Zodiac Job System, originally only released in Japan. Beyond the visual upgrades and game rebalancing, the remake will also include a Turbo mode that increases gameplay speed and a Trial mode that offers endgame challenges for experienced players. The game will be released on July 11, 2017, in both North America and Europe.
