Final Fantasy

I hate to make this one super short, but I've been (and still am) super busy this week. I hope next week I can get into more detail about what I've been working on. This week was mostly about Final Fantasy XI, as I made massive progress in both of the expansions I've needed to finish up.

Before we dive in and chat about those, here's a reminder to make sure to go and check out the Final Fantasy XV content survey going on right now. If you have the game, the survey is available from the game's main menu and asks about what content gamers would most like to see added. It includes things like additional story or making more characters playable, such as Lunafreya, Iris, Arenea, Gentiana, and Cor.

If you want to catch up on my prior pieces, here's a link to last week's Issue 19.

Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin (PC)

At the time of this writing, I have made it nearly to the end of both Seekers of Adoulin and Rhapsodies of Vana'diel. Seekers has gotten way more interesting, as the story really picked up in the later parts. Arciela is a curious ally and Balamor is a very crafty antagonist with some hilarious dialogue. He alone has made wading through FFXI's massive text dumps worth it once more. Still, in true Final Fantasy XI fashion, I am stuck on a set of bosses that are just not manageable for me solo. Hopefully I can get some help. As for Rhapsodies, there have been some fantastic, nostalgia-filled cutscenes in this finale. Some of these fights and areas are also a high-level pain, even for a level 99 character, but I'm working my way through it. Hopefully, I should be done with this by the next issue.
