The first of Aquaplus' two Utawarerumono games in 2017, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, is out now in stores. The strategy and visual novel hybrid is available in North America and Europe for the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita. Atlus USA has also released a launch trailer for the title.

Mask of Deception follows Haku, an amnesiac, who becomes entangled in a conflict raging across the land of Yamato. It's sequel, Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, is set to release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on September 5, 2017.
