Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood

Square Enix today unveiled the theme song to the latest expansion for MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. Like A Realm Reborn's "Answers" and Heavensward's "Dragonsong", Stormblood's "Revolutions" is composed by Nobuo Uematsu and sung by Susan Calloway. The song release came in the form of a video, viewable below, which features various event scenes from the expansion.

As previously detailed, Stormblood takes players to both the conquered city-state of Ala Mhigo and the eastern nation of Doma. The expansion will raise the game's level cap to 70, in addition to including two new DPS jobs: Red Mage and Samurai. Various other new features, such as swimming, will also be added.

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood will be available for PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac on June 20, 2017. The PlayStation 3 version of Final Fantasy XIV will cease service upon Stormblood's release, though players are able to upgrade to the PlayStation 4 version for free through the PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4 Upgrade Campaign, which players can find at the following links depending on their region: Japan, North America, and Europe.
