Paradox Interactive announced that it will be publishing Harebrained Schemes' BattleTech on PC. The game underwent a Kickstarter campaign in November 2016 and is planned for release sometime in 2017.

Much like Harebrained Schemes' Shadowrun Returns series, BattleTech is a revival of a multimedia franchise rooted in a 1980s tabletop RPG designed by studio founder Jordan Weisman. The game is set in the year 3025, where the universe in a constant state of war as various noble houses battle for supremacy using BattleMechs. Players will control their own mercenary squadron in turn-based battles. The game will feature both an extensive story campaign and PvP multiplayer.
