Funcom has a release date for Secret World Legends, its redesign for the MMO The Secret World. The now free-to-play title will roll out on June 26, 2017. A new trailer with an overview of the game's features was also released.

Originally released in 2012, Secret World Legends is an attempt to scale back the MMO aspects of the game to create an experience more focused on the character progression and story elements. Players will still gather normally in the game's hub, Agartha, while questing can be completed either solo or in groups. Additionally, the combat will be overhauled to focus on a more active battle system.
