Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is out now for Nintendo 3DS in Japan, and Nintendo has accompanied the game's release with that of its opening movie. The fully animated two-minute video can be found below and primarily focuses on the two main protagonists: Alm and Celica.

Shadows of Valentia is a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, originally released on the Famicom in 1992. The game follows two protagonists, Alm and Celica, as they each lead different armies on different fronts of a war. The game will be available on the Nintendo 3DS in both North America and Europe on May 19, 2017.
