Idea Factory International has revealed the release date for Dark Rose Valkyrie. The Compile Heart-developed RPG will be released exclusively for PlayStation 4 in North America on June 6, 2017 and in Europe on June 7, 2017. The news comes along with a new update on the game's official English website, which has new details added about some of the characters and the game's interview system, as well as new combat screenshots.

Dark Rose Valkyrie is set in a world where the outbreak of an extraterrestrial virus in 1929 causes humans to transform into creatures called Chimeras. Japan forms a covert military agency known as ACID to combat the remaining Chimeras in the country. In addition to its turn-based combat, the game has a traitor mechanic where one of the player's allies contracts the Chimera virus. Players must investigate their friends in order to suss out the traitor by looking for contradictions.
