God Eater Resurrection, the second enhanced port of the first God Eater game following Gods Eater Burst, is now out in North America. The game is available digitally-only for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita for $19.99. Its European release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita is set for August 30, 2016, which will also see the launch of global PC version of the game as well as the release of the game's sequel, God Eater 2: Rage Burst, in both regions on all three platforms.

God Eater Resurrection includes all the content from the 2011 PlayStation Portable version of Gods Eater Burst, as well as a new story segment that further connects the game to the events of God Eater 2 and enhanced graphics. Bandai Namco released a new story trailer commemorating the game's release, though viewers should note that some scenes present in the video can be considered spoilers.
