It's been months since the PC version of The Banner Saga 2 landed, but console owners will soon be able to join the pilgrimage. Stoic has announced the release dates for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

PlayStation owners in North America and Europe will be able to get the game on July 5, 2016. The PlayStation version will also come with a unique item, the Playful Hilt of Arnr, which provides +3 to all talent ranks and +20% double strength damage. Xbox owners in North America and Europe will be able to get the game on July 1, 2016. Additionally, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download the game for free as part of the Games with Gold program throughout the month of July.
