Kadokawa Games held its regular Summer Media Briefing in Japan last week. During the briefing, the company spent some time focusing on God Wars: Beyond Time, where it released a developer diary video of the game. The video can be viewed below, and although it is in Japanese, it comes with official English subtitles (which viewers may need to turn on in the video's settings).

The developers in the video initially talk about the underlying reltionship of the game's story with Japanese mythology and folklore, before moving onto to discuss some of the tactical RPG's gameplay systems. God Wars: Beyond Time is planned for release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan later this year, with a scheduled presence at Tokyo Game Show in September. The game has been announced for a worldwide release, though there is no confirmed date for North America or Europe.
