Capcom announced that its latest mainline Monster Hunter title, Monster Hunter Generations will receive a downloadable demo ahead of its launch next month. The demo will be released on June 30, 2016, and feature hunts against three monsters of varying difficulty while allowing local and online co-op for up to four players.
The company also released new media for the game, including a trailer highlighting the game's new Deviant monsters. These are beasts that have survived previous encounters with hunters and since mutated into greater threats than before. Deviant monsters feature more fearsome appearances and show different behaviours and abilities to their regular counterparts but also provide ingredients for crafting more powerful gear. Monster Hunter Generations will be released for Nintendo 3DS in North America and Europe on July 15, 2016.
