Square Enix has confirmed the release date for its Minecraft-inspired spin-off Dragon Quest Builders. The game will release on PlayStation 4, both physically and digitally, as well as digitally on PlayStation Vita on October 11, 2016.

The focus of Dragon Quest Builders is primary on building and crafting, as players are tasked with rebuilding towns and cities to restore life to the world of Alefgard. Some of the game's features include a large open-world to work in, being able to battle classic Dragon Quest enemies, and building towns and cities to their heart's content.
