Square Enix released a new trailer for PlatinumGames' upcoming NieR: Automata at this year's E3. The video, viewable below, features the main playable character 2B, an android who is part of the automated infantry squad YoRHa. 2B is equipped with a sword for meele fighting and a "Pod" system that facilitates ranged combat. She is regarding as cool and calm, rarely removing her military visor. Also appearing in the video are two other important androids, 9S and A2.

NieR: Automata is a follow-up to 2010 release Nier and is set in a dystopian mechanoid-driven world that has been overrun by powerful weapons. The game is being developed exclusively for PlayStation 4 with a worldwide release currently planned for early 2017.
