Spike Chunsoft announced Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics will be released for PC through Steam in addition to its previously announced PlayStation 4 nad PlayStation Vita release. The forced-scrolling roguelike will be released for all three platforms sometime in summer of 2016 at a price of $9.99.

Mystery Chronicle is both a spin-off of Spike Chunsoft's Mystery Dungeon/Shiren the Wanderer series and a reiminaging of indie studio Smoking WOLF's PC title, One Way Heroics. The game sees a wall of light expanding with every action the player takes. Should players touch the wall they die; players can however carry over equipment between playthroughs as well as points that can be spent unlocking perks, NPCs, and classes. There are over twenty classes available in total, including bonus characters from the Danganronpa and Mystery Dungeon/Shiren the Wanderer series.
