Atlus USA today announced that Persona 5 will be released in North America on February 14, 2017. The game, which will be released in Japan on September 16, 2016, will be available for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 with a couple of limited editions available for PlayStation 4.

A SteelBook Launch Edition will be available to those who pre-order on the platform as well as for a limited number of day-one purchases at a recommended retail price of $59.99/C$79.99. This will be joined by the "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition that is priced at $89.99/C$109.99 and, in addition to a copy of the game, includes:

• Soundtrack selection CD
• 4" Morgana plush
• 64-page hardcover art book
• SteelBook case
• School bag
• Collector's box

Persona 5 is the latest title in Atlus' spin-off series to the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. It follows a group of high-school students who double up as phantom thieves, with players taking control of the protagonist through most his daily life and various dungeons where they are aided in combat by overwordly powers known as Personas. The game will be on show during next week's E3.
