Bandai Namco announced a new mainline title in its long-running Super Robot Wars series. Super Robot Wars V will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan sometime in 2017. Bandai Namco's South-East Asian publishing arm confirmed that the game will be receiving an English-subtitled release in the region.

Super Robot Wars is a crossover tactical RPG series featuring various mecha-based franchises such as Gundam and Full Metal Panic. New franchises that will be making their first appearances in the series include Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and Cross Ange.

Bandai Namco also released a new trailer for its upcoming release of Super Robot Wars Original Generation: The Moon Dwellers. The new video doesn't provide a huge amount of new information, but does confirm the appearance of Haken Browning from Super Robot Wars OG Saga: Endless Frontier. The Moon Dwellers will be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on June 30, 2016, with an English-subtitled Asian release set for PlayStation 4 on August 5, 2016. Unlike mainline Super Robot Wars titles, the Original Generation titles take place in an original universe with its own set of characters.
