CD Projekt RED has announced that the second and last expansion of The Witcher 3 — Blood and Wine — will release on May 31, 2016. This announcement comes with a teaser trailer for the game, which gives players a glimpse of Toussaint, the game's new area.
Blood and Wine will have over ninety new quests and thirty hours of gameplay contained in an area roughly the size of No Man's Land. New features include a more dynamic Points of Interest system, a new Skellige-themed Gwent deck, new endgame mutation mechanics, and a new home for Geralt. Like the previous expansion Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine will also have a limited physical edition on PlayStation 4 and PC, only at participating retailers, that contains two physical Gwent decks — Northern Realms and Nilfgaard — in special packaging.
The price for Blood and Wine will be $19.99/£15.99/€19.99, with a temporary ten percent discount for pre-ordering. The expansion will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
