Square Enix revealed that the Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster collection will be released for PC this week via Steam. The games will be available on May 12, 2016, though no pricing has been announced. Like other recent Steam Final Fantasy releases, the PC versions add an auto-save feature as well as five game boosters, including faster animation speed and the option to remove random encounters.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster is based on the international versions of PlayStation 2 title Final Fantasy X and its direct sequel Final Fantasy X-2, originally released in 2001 and 2003 respectively. The HD Remaster was first released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in 2014 before also being released on PlayStation 4 in 2015.
