Persona 5

Atlus held its highly anticipated presentation for Persona 5 today, which began with the "taking over" of Tokyo Tower with a red lighting scheme. The biggest news to come from it was the Japanese release date for the game, which is coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on September 15, 2016. The release date was shown at the end of a new trailer that also showcased various aspects of the game, along with two new Velvet room assistants and more of the game's cast.

A collector's edition for the game will be available in Japan, which includes an art book and a 5-disc selection of music from all the games in the series (including Persona 5), plus various pieces of DLC such as customes based those of past Persona cast members. Also announced was Persona 5: The Animation - The Day Breakers, which is a prologue story for the game and will air sometime in September 2016 before the game's release.
