A new budget RPG is available to download on Nintendo 3DS in North America. Swords & Darkness is a side-scrolling RPG developed and published by Arc System Works, and can be purchased now form the Nintendo eShop for $6.99. A free demo is available for players to try out.

Swords & Darkness put players in the role of a knight of Athelstern. Returning to the kingdom after a mission, he discovers that the king used forbidden magic in order to win a war, but the magic has resulted in the king and his army losing their minds. Players are tasked with resucing the queen and saving the country from the chaos.
