Today, XSEED Games fired out the company's lineup for E3 and it had some RPG news for us. First off, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel was announced for a Fall 2015 release on Vita and PlayStation 3 in North America from XSEED, with NIS America handling the European release at some point. The two versions will be Cross-Play compatible, so saves can be transferred between both systems.

Cold Steel, known as Sen no Kiseki in Japan, is part of the newest pair of games in the series, jumping ahead in the progression of games that come after Trails in the Sky. More details, including information about the confirmation of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II coming as well, will be available on XSEED's blog.

Along with this Falcom duo, Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale was also announced for a release on the 3DS in Winter 2015. This simulation mashup blends farming and turn-based combat into one big package. There's no word about a European release as of yet.
