During its most recent Direct presentation, Nintendo showed off new footage of Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, the next game in the crossover franchise. Along with the first trailer, a few pieces of information were dropped.

In Super Mystery Dungeon, players will have the choice between each starter from every generation of Pokémon, as well as Pikachu and Riolu, bring the total number of playable starters to twenty. Additionally and for the first time, all 720 Pokémon would appear in the game, which releases in Japan on September 21, 2015. The 3DS has a North American version planned for a Winter 2015 release, while a European version is planned for Spring 2016.
