Following the announcement of the Game of the Year Edition for Wasteland 2 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, inXile Entertainment has revealed that the edition will also be provided to PC, Mac, and Linux owners of the original game as a free update. The Game of the Year Edition is currently scheduled for release in Summer 2015.

Wasteland 2's Game of the Year Edition features a number of improvements, including a significant amount of new voice-acting, a new Perks & Quirks system for further squad customisation, and a new Precision Strike system. The game is also receiving an update to Unity 5, as well as plenty of balancing tweaks. Some screenshots from the Game of the Year Edition can be viewed below.
