Some new details have been revealed regarding Compile Heart's upcoming PS4 release of Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force. The game is confirmed to be an expanded version of the original PS3 game, with the new title splitting off mid way through its "Goddess" chapter.

Advent Dark Force will introduce two new story routes, called the "Evil God" and "Devil" routes. New characters will appear depending on the route taken, with one original antagonist, Marianna, confirmed as joining the party. It has also been revealed that the new release will up the maximum size of the player's party from three to six. Three difficulty options will be available, with other new skills and content also being added.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is due out in Japan later this year. There has not yet been any announcement regarding a western release. Compile Heart has also released a new teaser trailer for the game, which is is viewable below.
