It has been less than two months since the release of Dragon Quest Heroes in Japan, but Omega Force and Square Enix have announced the game will receive a sequel. Not much is known at this stage about Dragon Quest Heroes II, aside from that it will be released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.

Dragon Quest Heroes is an action-RPG spin-off created by Dynasty Warriors and Toukiden developer Omega Force, and features numerous characters from across the series. The game came out in Japan for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in February 2015, and is being released exclusively for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe later this year.
