Pier Solar HD is now undergoing its certification process for various platforms, and it appears that the beta version will be available to select backers soon. It's been a long road for the game, but now that the end is in sight, we've received an official trailer.

The latest Kickstarter update also noted that along with the previously announced 16-bit and HD modes, the game will include an HD+ mode. This mode smooths out the pixellated character sprites so that they fit in with the HD backgrounds better. The developers prefer the mixed pixel sprite and HD background look, but it will now be up to players to choose their favourite aesthetic.
