Nintendo Europe has announced that it is releasing the first of the next generation of Inazuma Eleven games in Europe next month. Inazuma Eleven GO is set ten years after the events of Inazuma Eleven 3, and like previous games in the series comes in two versions, Light and Shadow. The game stars Arion Sherwind, a new student at Raimon Academy, attempting to break into the football team during tough times when an organisation called Fifth Sector exerts its dominance over the "beautiful game." Each version offers a selection of exclusive players and skills, plus a slightly different storyline involving a few reappearing characters.
Inazuma Eleven GO: Light/Shadow will be released on 3DS in Europe through retail channels and the eShop on June 13, 2014. There has been no announcement of the title for North America, but the recent release of the first Inazuma game on the eShop may give fans hope that the other games in the series will be released there at a later date.
