Ghostlight has announced that Agarest: Generations of War Zero will be released on Steam on April 17, 2014. Agarest Zero, a prequel to Agarest: Generations of War, was originally released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011 by Ghostlight in Europe and by Aksys Games in North America under the title Record of Agarest War Zero.

The game is set to be priced at $19.99 and can be pre-ordered immediately, with those who pre-order receiving a 20% discount to take the price down to $15.99. The PC port, which has been handled by Ghostlight's development team Laughing Jackal, includes a few extra improvements, such as cloud-saving and a revamping of the DLC menu.
