2K Games, publisher of Borderlands 2, has recently revealed the box art and two special editions for the aforementioned title. The cover art for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions can be viewed below.

The first special edition is called the Borderlands 2 Deluxe Vault Hunter's Collector's Edition. For $99.99 MSRP, players will get the game, a Marcus Kincaid bobblehead, four exclusive Setstickers, a map of Pandora, a comic book download, the "Inside the Vault: The Art of Borderlands 2" hardbound book, and bonus digital content. For $ 149.99 MSRP, there is the Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition. This package includes everything in the Collector's Edition, as well as a steelbook game case, a replica Borderlands Loot Chest, a chart of the creatures of Pandora, four lithograph postcards, a cloth map of Pandora, Sir Hammerlock's field notes, and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, as there will indeed be a limited number of this edition.

By pre-ordering either special edition from various retailers, players can also join the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club, giving them more bonus digital goods and free access to a new character class, the Mechromancer, once it is released. Borderlands 2 will be released in North America on September 18, 2012.
