Runic Games has recently launched a pre-order for its upcoming PC RPG Torchlight II. The game can be pre-ordered through two venues, Steam and Perfect World Entertainment's website for Torchlight II. In addition, by pre-ordering through Steam, player will receive a free copy of the first Torchlight. There is also a special four-pack option on Steam: pre-order three copies and get the fourth free.

Although a release date has yet to be announced for the game, CEO Max Schaefer said in the press release that "it made sense to start pre-orders after the great response we received at PAX East. Fans have asked us for a pre-order, and we are planning an imminent network test, so the timing was perfect." Torchlight II retails at $19.99 (£14.99, €18.99).
