The Wizardry series hasn't been seen in the West since 2001 with Wizardry 8 and spin-off title Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land. XSEED Games has brought the ten year wait for another Wizardry game to an end with the recent release on PlayStation Network of Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls.
Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is a localized version of the 2009 PSN game Wizardry: Torawareshi Tamashii no Meikyū, one of the many spin-off Wizardry titles produced and released in Japan. The game features HD artwork drawn by Yuki Hayabusa, eight playable character classes and a lot of traditional dungeon crawling action. Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is already avaliable on the US PSN store for $14.99. XSEED has said that a version for Europe is in the works, but has no definite release date.
