Certain Affinity has announced the upcoming release of Crimson Alliance, a downloadable co-op action RPG coming out this summer for the Xbox 360. Up to four players will be able to get together either locally or on-line to play the game.

Crimson Alliance features three character classes: the Assassin, Wizard, and Mercenary. Each class has five upgradable special attacks, which can be enhanced via various items found over the course of the game. In keeping with the game's multiplayer focus, characters will be able to chain attacks with each other in order to create combos. Different classes will be able to create interesting combos with each other.

Here's the single screenshot that has been released so far, as well as the game's teaser trailer. Crimson Alliance will be playable at E3, so we're sure to hear more about it soon.
