Recently, Square Enix ported Final Fantasy III to the iPhone/iPod Touch. Square Enix has now announced an iPad version of the classic RPG via Facebook. The iPad version is said to have a higher resolution for the game, but it isn't clear if there will be any further enhancements to this version. This version is set to release on April 21, 2011. With the iOS version costing $14.99, the iPad version will likely cost more, though no price point has been stated at this time.
